Re: Keyboard & Mouse not work LXDE

Hi kadamski, That's all fantastic information, thanks for taking the time to give such a detailed reply. :-) I think what I'll do is start again from scratch but using Mikes new PiscesR3 initially from a flash card then move /root and swap on to the hard disk and hopefully use your information to so...

Re: Keyboard & Mouse not work LXDE

Hi kadamski,
I have tried 'lsmod' and I get an empty list, just the column titles, so any suggestions as to what could be wrong? or how I get the required modules to load would be fantastic?.
Yes I do have the very latest firmware.
Regards,
Kevin.

Re: Keyboard & Mouse not work LXDE

Hi Mike, For your info and in case anyone has any further suggestions. I've now been able to try a separate USB2 hub with a different keyboard and mouse plugged into it. I get exactly the same results, ie. With /root and 'swap' on a small USB disk, at the command line everything looks fine, but when...

Re: Keyboard & Mouse not work LXDE

Hi Mike, Don't worry, it's not your problem :-) Yes, I can either run with only the swap on the hard disk, or everything on the flash card and in this configuration mouse and keyboard work fine in LXDE. You may have hit the nail on the head with the keyboard, as it does have a supposedly USB2 hub in...

Keyboard & Mouse not work LXDE

Hi, I'm having a problem in LXDE. I've set up Raspbian, starting with Pisces R2, so that only /boot is on the flash card, root and swap are on two separate partitions on a small hard drive, which is self powered. In this configuration the keyboard and mouse will not work in LXDE, the CPU display in ...

Re: Debian Hard Float (armhf) for RPi

<t>Hi Mike, Yep, I've been reading all your posts since about page 2 when I first spotted it.<br/> <br/> I have thought that the Pi will be greatly improved by enabling the hardware float, but didn't realise it would be so difficult I naively assumed all float operations would be posted through a co...
