malfunction warning?

what are some of the signs that my pi is not working to its full potential or is malfunctioning? is a red light bad is a error pop up after start bad? do these things make a difference if everything seems ok and runs? :?:

then... is there a way that when i tell my pi to shutdown with "sudo shutdown -h now" make it cut off power totally by it self?

i suggest connecting the ethernet cable to one wifi signal (assuming you have several) and then go specifically into your dongle settings and tell it to connect to a different wifi signal. im not entirely sure what your saying here so iiii :?: :?: hope this helps --------

i still have the software to run a bukkit server and if you go back to a older version you can run it (its before the new biombes... so no rabits and horses either) but i dont have many plugins so thats up to you... but yes you can still run a bukkit server. i havent done it in a long time so i dont...

i used a 3200 mA battery, so thats the amount on the charger i used after realizing that that would do it. everything works fine on my pi2. as long as its 5v (and not 4.7 like several that say 5) it should work.

also those yard lamps can be found almost anywhere for just a buck or two. and by "your battery" i meant maybe a rechargable 9v.
