Re: sonic pi question

I think it exports wav files so that's good enough to put on SoundCloud. If you wanted to convert the wav to mp3 you could google "wav to mp3 converter" you can probably do it in a browser without downloading any software. Also you might be able to do it with iTunes or windows media player. Edit: ch...

Re: flicker on monitor, due to power spikes

I don't know if this will help but this stuff happens all the time in music and the solution is don't use the raspberry on the same circuit breaker as the high voltage appliances (obvious) or spend money for something called a power conditioner.

Gimp and download

I want to set my raspberry pi 2 up to download raspberry pi compatible apps/software locally from the terminal so how do I set that up. I say that because I read when the first pi came out along with setting up the language and keyboard I was supposed to find a server close to my location to downloa...

Re: Use Pi as PS3 controller

I would like to use my pi as a ps3 controller too. I already have a ps3 remote that the games won't let me use as a controller and I have no interest in purchasing a new one just to flip through the menu on 1 specific game.

That sounds really cool! I would be interested in hearing all about such a project. A $35 console kinda like an ouya type.

what is wrong with this project? i tried signing up via rasp-config and i'm not on the map. also the website is very resource draining, i couldn't see it on my pi or my cellphone. i did find like 5 pi's in walking distance. i would love to hear what the local pi owners are up to. is there an email a...

Clear python shell shortcut

I want to know how to clear the screen + all the commands with a keyboard shortcut. I have been xing off the window but it seems dumb to keep doing that as I work my way through this book. Is there a control + letter I can hit to clear the screen and parameters like a calculator?

Re: Blinking when off

Power supply, monitor through piview (HDMI to VGA), and keyboard and mouse through USB to 2x's ps2, and wipi WiFi dongle. It's weird and a little distracting because I usually catch it out of the corner of my eye but as long as it doesn't break my pi or curropt my SD I can live with it. Mabey I need...

Blinking when off

I have the rpi2 plugged into an outlet with an on off switch. It's switched off and every minute or so it blinks once green or yellow I'm colorblind but I can see it's not red. Does that mean it's getting power or is it still blinking from the last time it was powered on? Is it bad?

Icedove email app

I saw a video that said if you type sudo apt-get install icedove you can have Thunderbird email for the pi. Has anyone tried it on the rpi2? Is it pointless now that the rpi2 has more horsepower for browser email? Anyone recommend something better?

Anyway I guess i could use my old email but I was hoping for a rasbian app oh well. Thanks again for the help. Also setting up WiFi...
