Get https://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client-download BitVise SSH Client Use SSH (you'll need to enable it on the Pi, read the docs or looking in settings) Then login and you have a remote shell to the terminal. Re: Enviroplus and EnviroPlusWeb Font issue

i/o error, with i2c in the bits before it... Normally means it cannot see the device it is reading. I2C being how it talk to it. So you more than likely need to enable it in the setting and reboot. You can do that either from the start menu and the RaspberryPi Pi settings. Or from sudo raspi-config ...

Re: Help with DS18B20 wiring.

I think that is just wear on the board. The led wouldn't work if it was.
I can only see a break on the right hand side and then in the pin section.
That and I have one of these boards I think.

Re: WiFi: 2.4g vs 5g Confusion.

As above, I wouldn't worry (what router is it). I have band-steering enabled on all of mine, it's much nicer and easier, especially for portable devices. The devices just move you between them as needed/is better. Anyway, you shouldn't need to be on the same frequency. All mine can talk to each othe...

Move data to PIN18(GPIO24) Then type sudo dtoverlay w1-gpio gpiopin=24 pullup=0 Wait and see if you see anything being found in the one wire place. (I know you have done it before) And/or better change config.txt to now be dtoverlay=w1-gpio,gpiopin=24 And reboot. It would be interesting to see if Ba...

I can recommend https://github.com/pimoroni/enviroplus-python to look for answers, pimoroni support their own products well. And of course their forums too :-) They may have moved to roboto? sudo pip3 install fonts sudo pip3 install font-roboto Maybe, I know some of the LCD examples used that. And f...

Re: Help with DS18B20 wiring.

If you couldn't get an LED to work, I would be looking at a faulty cable*, maybe and probably it is back to front and needs turning around (hence you couldn't get the led to work on any Gpio as it would be in the wrong place. So see above for a photo request and test that . And easy test is between ...

Re: help me i am getting output always zero only

There sensor works by sending on/off on the DO wire to you Gpio.
That is it, you get no data from it, it acts like a switch.

You set the setpoint (point that it gives on/off) with the blue square/white circle variable resistor.

For that look at using Gpiozero and a button, as they are similar.

Re: Is overclocking is dangerous?

It's not dangerous (unless you count possible SD card corruption), but it will reduce lifespan, however dropping from lets say 25 years to 20 years is probably not important. Thank you for your reply. And I have one more qustion. over_voltage=6 arm_freq=2000 << I put this code in the end of config....

Re: Model B v1.2 - Super Slow

It's the same using a Pi Zero (as they use the same processor and ram setup). Actually, it's slower than the Pi0, which is clocked at 1GHz, while the old single core Pi B(+) was only clocked at 700MHz. A faster SD card might help a little, but even with an SSD a Pi0 or model B is still going to be ...

Re: Model B v1.2 - Super Slow

The old Pi B+ cannot really cope with modern Raspbian and especially not Chrome. It's the same using a Pi Zero (as they use the same processor and ram setup). Though several minutes is excessive, quality SD card? even then it still not several minutes. Unfortunately the lightweight browser and Pytho...

Re: Pi 4 won't overclock past 1.75GHz

Odd, once they added the new firmware for it to goto 2GHz, I could use it at that, no heatsink or anything. But if this is a new setup and you have rebooted, then you'll have the latest firmware. I think I Set oveer_volt to 6 Drew to 2000 Reboot and off it went. It could probably go quicker. I could...

Definitely go for a buck converter that are recommended for SBC projects: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2190 https://www.piborg.org/power-1137/battborg That adafruit one is a buck-boost, so significantly less efficient than a buck converter, and it's only good for 1A and costs 10 USD.
