Code: Select all

vi crontab.2016
crontab /home/pi/crontab.2016
crontab -l

Re: Raspberry PI GPS help..

Not sure if this will work but you could try using a symlink( ln -s /path/to/file /path/to/symlink )

Code: Select all

sudo ln -s /dev/ttyACM0 /dev/ttyUSB0

or take a look at this instructable.

Re: Raspberry PI GPS help..

Try on the command line: read -n 200 LINE < /dev/ttyUSB0 or read -n 200 LINE < /dev/ttyACM0 Also you might have the TXD or RXD plugged in wrong. Try only having one plugged in, while reading the output on the screen. If you still see nothing, plug in the RXD into TXD but still only having one plugge...

It is very possible to cluster the Pis and use each resources on each but you would need to know how to use a clustering software called, "MPI http://www.mpich.org/ " This software allows for multi-processing communication between computers. Follow these instruction to get MPI working on the PIs htt...

If you buy a WiFi Dongle you can get better speed up to 300 Mbps(if you network isn't congested with other devices), rather than using the Ethernet's 100 Mbps top speeds.

Re: [RetroPie] Emulationstation runs slow on B+ but not on B

You might want to check the speed of your microSD vs SD card. I had the same problem and ended up just using the B pi rather than B+ due to the speed of the microSD.

You have to think that a lot of full size SD cards are for cameras and would need the higher speed for read and write.
