fruitoftheloom, Poppycock & Balderdash To which of the above posts are you referring? I think it was a recursive self-referencing one. Re: Will Rpi price go down thanks to weaker Pound?

I think we've got to the point where the question is well and truly answered and all that is left is the potential for spiralling into an argument. The original post was reported by some, but I let it slide. Now it's been discussed I'm going to close the thread before it goes bad. Thanks for c...

Re: Will Rpi price go down thanks to weaker Pound?

Likely the most noticeable effect will be to reduce labor costs in the factory in Wales I don't know for sure, but I suspect the labour is priced in GBP, so weaker GBP will likely have no direct impact on it. It's only if you buy those GBP with another currency you already hold that it becomes chea...

Re: Will Rpi price go down thanks to weaker Pound?

Will Rpi price go down thanks to weaker Pound? The Pi has always been quoted in dollars as the components are bought in dollars. So the answer to your title question is NO! is it possible that this British wonder board can be priced even cheaper? The answer to this question (decoupling from UK manu...

Re: Has any user of 'PIXEL' actually read the license agreem

I think the intent behind the licensing verbiage is to protect the photographer's long-term interests in ownership of his work. I can't see any harm in that and I can't see him or RPi suing anyone who distributes Raspbian - that would be utterly ludicrous. I think the photos are fantastic, but it's ...

You'll probably find they trigger when connected to GND and are OFF when connected to 3V3.

These kinds of relays are most often HIGH = OFF and LOW = ON. It can be confusing if you don't know :D

They can as long as there is an EEPROM correctly programmed with the EDID information on the LCD's driver board. Some are temperamental and need to be forced.

Did you see that they also had a problem with the power supply? Yeah, but thankfully it looks like that won't affect the final shipping date. Haha - I think we all know that it likely will. However, these kind of teething problems are not at all uncommon in a crowdfunded project like this.

I'd just like to refer people back to a comment I made on my Pi Zero launch day blog article . However, if it’s popular...
