Just remember to end it in exit 0

Re: Help needed to view live video in command line on tft sc

As you've doubtless guessed, it doesn't look like your camera directly supports mjpeg, so your RPi's CPU is doing a lot of work that could be more efficiently done within the camera itself. It's often hard though to know this when you buy one! What's your intended usage of the camera, as part of an...

It is a passive speaker but that isn't the point. My other rpi uses a passive speaker that works perfectly fine and is plenty loud enough. That is the point. To find out the omxplayer version you have, in a terminal (X or no X, doesn't matter): omxplayer -v To get the latest version, go to: http://omxplayer.sconde.net/ To update your RPi, in a terminal (X or no X, again doesn't matter): sudo rpi-update There's no need for wget etc., on versions of Raspb...

Re: How to make the audio level above 100%

The Pis audio output is not meant to be used with passive speakers. Do your speakers contain an amplifier (i.e are they active speakers) ? Active speakers usually need an extra source of power , wall warts are most often used for this purpose. ghans It is a passive speaker but that isn't the point....

How to make the audio level above 100%

I have some speakers and they are somewhat quiet (okay okay they're cheap ;) ) and I tried them in omxplayer and the audio level was not very loud. So I turned up the volume by pressing +. When I turned it up to 12db it was to loud (kinda of crackling) but 9 db was just right (no crackling junk but ...
