Do you have to buy minecraft or is it free the way you said? Sounds cool though.

Hi DougieLawson!DougieLawson wrote:Try this:

That worked! There is no more error message! But one question. Can you give me a simple explanation of what CTDB does? Thanks for the help.

Re: CTDB won't start on boot
Does everything work? If so, ignore the message as informational. If not then we need to look deeper at why you may need some wonky bit of samba/CIFS that doesn't appear to work. Starting here: https://ctdb.samba.org/configuring.html may make sense of it. Well I haven't noticed any problems yet but...

I have signed into my google account in Epiphany, Chromium (apt-get install chromium), and Chromium 45.
All of which show up in a notifaction email as Linux.

CTDB won't start on boot
First off I have no clue what CTDB even does but recently when I boot my pi up, towards the end it says something like [FAIL] Unable to start CTDB I haven't really noticed any performance issues yet besides Chromium locking up a little more than normal :? (normal is only like once every week and I u...

Ah, yes, I haven't written those yet! It's only a bit of text :-) The TurboRaketti levels should have their descriptions (finnish and english!). Yes, 3 more mission levels planned. Have you completed the existing ones? If so, then I'll have to make them harder ;-) I don't think you need to make the...

Re: New Gravity War / Cave flyer game for Raspberry Pi
Well that sounds like pretty good news to me! I don't think you should need samba, it just seemed the easiest way to get the gravstorm files on. I guess I could have just used a USB stick. Ah yes, I'd forgotten the description files for the mission. I've added them to github, so you can get them. I...

Re: How to exit game in RetroPie
To answer you first question press the buttons you assigned to start and select at the same time. Okay great! that works! Is there any way to save your progress in a game though? I have used mednafen for quite a while and one thing I liked about it is that you could rewind and save your progress in...

Re: New Gravity War / Cave flyer game for Raspberry Pi
I haven't had a play with this yet, but if all you're trying to do is make the file executable... chmod +x gravstorm ...should suffice. Sorry that didn't work :( Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by 'running this from the desktop'. The only way I've ever run it is by starting a command prompt / termin...

Re: New Gravity War / Cave flyer game for Raspberry Pi
Hi Malman, That sounds like some progress, at least. I will add the chmod 777 to the readme. I don't think I've seen that error message while developing, and a quick google hasn't helped me much. When you say it worked, did you actually get to play the game? If so, how did you exit? The way it's su...

Re: New Gravity War / Cave flyer game for Raspberry Pi
Hi Malman, I'm really glad that someone is trying to run this! I think the directory name doesn't matter, it's just something github does. I wonder if the problem is to do with file permissions, though I'm not much of a linux expert! try running ls -l gravstorm (that's a lower case 'L'). When I do ...

How to exit game in RetroPie
How do you exit a game in retro pie? I have pressed esc and f4 and all sorts of buttons but none of them work! I have to ssh into the pi and reboot!
