Streaming Pi to Pi

Hellp
We're doing an engineering project at school which involves two Raspberry Pi's, one streaming video from the PiCam and the other receiving (over LAN).
We understand the concept of using Gstreamer to stream from one pi to a PC or Mac, however were unsure whether this would work to a Pi instead?

Controlling terminal commands with a GUI

We're using the bright pi https://www.pi-supply.com/product/bright-pi-bright-white-ir-camera-light-raspberry-pi/ to provide lighting controlled from our Raspberry pi B+. It's up and running but a pain to use having to enter the full LXterminal commands every time you want to do anything. Is there an...

Re: Power Issues

I don't really understand any of what you guys are talking about unfortunately.

All I want to know is, is there any way of getting another mains pi charger and somehow splitting that so it can go to the extras?

Power Issues

Hi As part of an engineering project we're trying to run a raspberry pi b+ with the following extras A Dagu pan tilt kit Picam Pibright (lighting) We're using a 1.5a charger for the pi however we don't think that's going to be enough to power everything. So I was wondering if anybody could help out ...

Re: Engineering Project

Thanks again

So what you're saying is that it would work?

If so would it be feasible just to split the ends and use strip connectors to connect the power supply with the lighting / movement?

Would a Power supply such as this work if we could cut of the end and attatch the wires somehow?
Or would it provide too much current?

Re: Engineering Project

Hi First of all thank you very much for taking the time to answer my post. Secondly would a cheaper IR led source such as this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Infrared-Illuminator-Board-Security-Camera/dp/B0057DPXI4/ref=sr_1_17?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1416332678&sr=1-17&keywords=IR+leds be more preferable...

Engineering Project

Hello I'm new to the raspberry Pi forum so please forgive me for any mistakes I make! We're doing an engineering project with school and I have some questions on the compatibility of parts that we're using. We're planning to use a raspberry Pi b+ with the Pi noir camera ( http://www.raspberrypi.org/...
