My dad wants to watch football on his dumb HD TV using ifollow
I have tried to get this working on a pi3B+ but only get a black box when it should be playing.
It works fine on his Fedora29 Linux laptop so it is not a generic Linux incompatibility
has anyone been successful in getting this to work

Performing an nmap search on your URL shows all ports closed so I asume your PI is currently off line. if you can access the web server internally they it is either incorrect port forwarding on your router or possibly the permissions incorrectly set within Apache.
