Re: Raspistill command not found on RPi 3B using Ubuntu mate v18

Try using RaspiOS where the camera software is a) pre-installed & b) fully supported. Is there any other alternative solution? As my lecturer requires me to use Ubuntu mate v18 as my OS. :( Ask Canonical/Ubuntu - it's their Operating System... " https://ubuntuforums.org/ and https://askubuntu.com/ ...

It seems unusual that you can’t set a reserved ip address (static) in the router for the pi - what make of router is it? Hi Neilgl, The router is Asus DSL-AC68U I am also surprised On page 39 of the manual for your router there is a screenshot of the dhcp server configuration page for your device t...

Re: Pi 4 port forwarding not working

Set the static IP in /etc/dhcpcd.conf - there's an example of how to do it in there. Hi Dougie, In another word, I can use the same way to set static ip with pi. I have tried a search about the tutorial online, it seems a lot of different ways doing it. Can you please provide a link to your reply? ...

I'm wondering whether it may be an idea to install the latest linux mint, in case there is a configuration issue, or I changed something in my current MInt 19,3 For better or worse, many volunteer helpers in these forums will assume the use of the current supported RasPiOS Operating System, unless ...
