Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi all, Having a good 'ol time with this setup, I recently added another Pi NoIR to a new RPi B+, and it's really something. There is only one (I think major) issue that I cannot determine the source. I have installed IR flood lighting at the front area of my house, and can see them pretty well in b...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Has anyone else seen a problem when enabling Motion detect and it causes the annotation background to shift over a couple characters? The black background on mine changes during motion-detected video recording, but it doesn't shift, it just extends to the right so the overall length of the black re...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hey all,

Having a problem here. I always have Motion On my RPi (FYI). When I set the Exposure Mode to Night, The Recording Video starts...and never goes off. I literally have to reboot the RPi after that.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I'm getting this set of errors more frequently in the last few days in my browser:

Error in RaspiMJPEG: Could not write all bytes
Restart RaspiMJPEG (./RPi_Cam_Web_Interface_Installer.sh start) or the whole RPi.

This is even after updating and upgrading Debian.

Any ideas?

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

After I had Rpi cam control installed and set up, I have a problem with the Motion Detection noticed. If detected movement at dusk and a video is recorded, the exposure mode of the cam, which is the web interface to "night" for video recording turns off apparently. Now I have the web interface at t...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I'm saving my files directly to a (Linux) network share which I've mounted before by altering the fstab file in the /etc folder. Afterwards I bound this mount and the /var/www/media folder as described in the wiki here: http://elinux.org/RPi-Cam-Web-Interface#Move_saved_images_and_videos_to_another...

Re: RPi Cam FTP saves

I'm having a heck of a time trying to get RPi Cam to save files directly to an external drive on my network. I have been able to access the /var/www/media folder (where videos are stored) successfully via FTP. But trying to copy them to another drive takes a long time. I'm sure part of this is doing...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Silvan, First off, excellent job on this little gem of an app. I just purchased a Pi NoIR, and used this to get up and running. Took me a couple of installs (don't ask, my mistakes), now I have it running. Pretty easy for this noob. 2 things: 1. Can you tell me where the images/videos are stored? I'...
