dt-blob gpio28 and gpio29

I noticed strange behaviour of gpio28 and gpio29 setting in dt-blob: [email protected] { function = "output"; termination = "pull_down"; startup_state = "active"; polarity = "active_low";}; [email protected] { function = "output"; termination = "pull_down"; startup_state = "active"; polarity = "active_low";}; gpio read...

Re: [Diet-Pi] Minimal Raspbian. Optional "ready to run" soft

Hi fourdee4d, the compute module does not support SD card. The Compute module has an on-board eMMC device connected to the primary SD card interface. I have two compute modules and the effect is the same. On both I can run official Raspbian without problem. I think that is not related to IO failures...

Re: [Diet-Pi] Minimal Raspbian. Optional "ready to run" soft

Bad news. It does not work.

Stop during first boot after:

Code: Select all

random: nonblocking pool is initialized
I can make more test if you wish.

In the mean time, if you could paste the following results, we might be able to find the cause: clear && ls /dev | grep 'mmc*' clear && echo -e "p" | fdisk /dev/mmcblk0 fourdee4d, thank you for your reply. Completely turn off video and audio

I use RPi in automation and I don't need video and audio. Serial port console is enough for me. I want to completely turn off all video (hdmi, composite) and audio signals. Is it possible?

I'm trying to run Diet-Pi on Compute Module. After write image I saw in console that system reboot two times. After that, during third boot, nothing happend after:

random: nonblocking pool is initialized
Does Diet-Pi have support for Compute Module?

gsh, I know that. This is strange that some code that I can't check, change GPIO during shutdown and maybe during other operations. CM is than useless for professional purposes. I have to be sure how GPIO work in CM when I design my board for this module. Previously I had problem with GPIO16 https://www.raspberrypi.o...

You do not want to use the ACT line gpio47 to detect shutdown. Thank you MarkHaysHarris777 for your reply. You probably don't undestand what I want to do. GPIO47 is used for the ACT LED on the Pi. At the last stage of shutdown the LED blinks 10 times and then goes out. Indeed I connect Led to GPIO47 on my board and led blinks 10 times but I have set different ACT LED gpio in config.txt file and have other LED connected to gpio set in config and it wo...

I have to detect shutdown state on CM. I can't use UART-TXD signal because I have RS-232 driver connected and pullup resitor on this signal. I wanto to use for this purpose GPIO47.
