Is there easy way to change machine model in the console:

Code: Select all

Machine model: Raspberry Pi Compute Module Rev 1.0
I want to change it to my product name.

Minimal Raspbian for automatics

I'm looking for minimal version of Raspbian with Compute Module support for automatics applications. I don't need support for video, audio etc. I have found noX nightly images. I'm not sure but I think that this images are not stable. Is there official minimal release of Raspbian?

Re: dt-blob gpio28 and gpio29

@MrBool please add ignore_lcd=1 to your config.txt file to stop GPIO28 and 29 from being touched by the firmware. Note this is due to the recently added LCD driver for upcoming RPI Display incorrectly grabbing these pins. We will fix this properly in due course. James, thank you. It works but not s...

Re: dt-blob gpio28 and gpio29

I don't find cm dtb file so I use bcm2708-rpi-b.dtb. I just rename it to bcm2708-rpi-cm.dtb.
Should I change some information in bcm2708-rpi-b.dts to adjust it to compute module?
I asked previously at forum about dts file for compute module but I don't receive any usefull information.

Re: [Diet-Pi] Minimal Raspbian. Optional "ready to run" soft

Hi fourdee4d, the compute module does not support SD card. The Compute module has an on-board eMMC device connected to the primary SD card interface. I have two compute modules and the effect is the same. On both I can run official Raspbian without problem. I think that is not related to IO failures...

Bad news. It does not work.

Stop during first boot after:

Code: Select all

random: nonblocking pool is initialized
I can make more test if you wish.

You do not want to use the ACT line gpio47 to detect shutdown. Thank you MarkHaysHarris777 for your reply. You probably don't undestand what I want to do. I have microcontoller (uC) on my board with CM which control power supply of CM. CM detect Halt signal on GPIO setting by uC. Next uC are waitin...
