Watchdog and reboot

After reboot command I receive:

Code: Select all

wdt: WDT device closed unexpectedly. WDT will not stop!
is it normal ? Do I have to stop watchdog before restart?

Raspbian Jessie Lite slow start

I use fresh Raspbian Jessie Lite image on Compute Module and time from power on to first text on serial port console ("Uncompressing Linux... done, booting the kernel.") is about 13 seconds. Why so much? Does bootloader wait for something?

GPIO polarity change during boot

How can I change polarity of GPIO during boot? dt-blob.bin does not change polarity. Function option works. For example I have in dt-blob: [email protected] { function = "input"; termination = "no_pulling"; polarity = "active_low"; }; After boot: echo "12" > /sys/class/gpio/export cat /sys/class/gpio/gpio12/a...

I'm looking for minimal version of Raspbian with Compute Module support for automatics applications. I don't need support for video, audio etc. I have found noX nightly images. I'm not sure but I think that this images are not stable. Is there official minimal release of Raspbian?

@MrBool please add ignore_lcd=1 to your config.txt file to stop GPIO28 and 29 from being touched by the firmware. Re: dt-blob gpio28 and gpio29

I don't find cm dtb file so I use bcm2708-rpi-b.dtb. I just rename it to bcm2708-rpi-cm.dtb.
Should I change some information in bcm2708-rpi-b.dts to adjust it to compute module?
I asked previously at forum about dts file for compute module but I don't receive any usefull information.
