Re: Arcade box/buttons/joystick advice needed

@Bking1340 - you will have lots of fun. I have just finished my 2nd bartop arcade. http://s9.postimg.org/g2ut9v0f3/bartops.jpg http://s9.postimg.org/7xcrbpc63/bartops.jpg Just used RPi 1's so far. For buttons goto 'Ultracabs' they have a website or are on eBay. You want to buy the 'concave' buttons,...

Re: Native Acorn Archimedes games on the Raspberry Pi!!!

I will have to try this again @ringdings as I never got a game running in the end.

Thanks for the note on JFD file types. This is certainly a confusing thing on Archi and it seems to be very difficult to find a list of all the types.

Re: Uae4arm: Amiga emulator with JIT and DispmanX

@Smithers - just keep unzipping the downloaded file in Windows and you will have the binary and some folders, copy these to you pi and run. I think they might be compressed twice. Use 7-zip. I am no expert, so this might not be the right thing but quite often on the various emus I download I have to...

Re: New version emulator ZEsarUX 2.1

Hello, Thanks for the update, I am having a little play. I got a bit confused as I previously compiled but I see I just need to run install.sh :) I got a .zesaruxrc config file setup, but if does not seem to take note of ' frameskip 0 ' it is running 13fps, but if I go back and change it in the MENU...

Re: New Spectrum emulator - ZEsarUX

Nice work guys. Is the mouse cursor something to do with SDL? Can the Fuse patch that is used to remove the mouse cursor also be utilised? The patch was detailed on the RetroPie fuse.sh on Github? UPDATE - Here is patch info (sorry but I don't understand it at all. I would love to integrate the patc...

Re: Native Acorn Archimedes games on the Raspberry Pi!!!

Please can you help. I am trying this and have spent quite a bit of time on it but I am not having any luck (I got BBC Mirco Emu working). - This is on a Model B 256mb with a fresh RISC OS R14 install. I have installed ADFFS (adffs247b), it is in my Resources:$.Apps. (I have also added this and Spar...

Re: New Spectrum emulator - ZEsarUX

What joystick interface did you select in your config file? The commands you wrote look OK. I am having a nightmare trying to get mine working again. I had to re-flash RetroPie as I was getting 'black screen and choose' when booting up on my 256mb RPi. I use RetroPie as a base because of the recentl...

Fuse-new binary? or how to compile with 'no mouse pointer'

Hello, Can someone please help. Does anyone have a new binary or can tell me how to compile Fuse with 'no mouse pointer'. RetroPie have done it with Fuse 1.1.1: https://github.com/petrockblog/RetroPie-Setup/commit/d4c22886904683ff8115bb4cd24b73c906599bac But after a few reboots I keep getting a 'bla...

Re: New Spectrum emulator - ZEsarUX

Oh I forgot to say, you need to complie from the latest Snapshot (which you probably have done if you were recompiling with PS3 controller), as the v2 download does not have some of the latest options.

Re: don't know how to access emulators on retropi

Try it with other roms, not just SEGA32x. If you can get other emulators to show then it eliminates that problem. There are about 3 or so SEGA emulators on RetroPie, so not sure which one is best or if indeed they are all active. I don't think they all support 32X so you might have put the rom into ...

Hi, I see RetroPie have a patch to remove the mouse pointer on Fuse 1.1.1 SDL1.2(?) Is the mouse pointer removed on this SDL2 version? I tried installing SDL2 files on my 256mb Pi last night but it crashed, I think because I am trying to squeeze it all onto a 2GB card (more 8GB cards now ordered!!!)...

This new emulator in development uses Framebuffer video drivers and can run from command line. Should the developer be looking to use SDL 2? Maybe this would benefit from the improved SDL 1.2? http://sourceforge.net/projects/zesarux/ I don't really know what SDL and Framebuffer is. Its a bit over my...
