http://iot-projects.com/index.php?id=ra ... own-button here you can find information how to make shutdown/reset button. It' is a simple python script that checks gpio pin. Long press- Pi goes to shutdown, short press resets Pi. It also deals with bouncing effect of the mechanical switch
