Watching Sling tv on the Raspberry Pi

I love Sling tv but I would like to watch it on our family tv instead of my computer. I have a Raspberry Pi running kodi (openelec) and I would like to know if there is some way for me to watch Sling tv on my Raspberry Pi?

Raspberry Pi Internet Radio

I would like to make a internet radio with a Raspberry Pi and a speaker I found. I wouldn't be able to hook the pi up to a screen so I want to ssh into the pi or use vnc. I want have a selection of genres to pick from and then the pi will start playing music in that genre.

Re: Changing the port number that the Coder Server runs on.

When I run the command

Code: Select all

sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 8080 -j REDIRECT --to-port 80
the server still is not working on port 8080 and is still running on port 80.

Re: Changing the port number that the Coder Server runs on.

I am having a lot of trouble installing and getting coder to work so can I use iptables to have all the traffic to and from the server to be rerouted from port 80 to port 8080 instead?

Re: Changing the port number that the Coder Server runs on.

I typed cd cd coder-base and I found that there is no directory or file named cd coder-base. I typed ls and got python_games and tmp. I typed cd tmp and I found npm-5451. There was no config.js.

Re: I can't open the rtp stream from my pi in vlc

Ok I am able to view the stream but the pi camera is upside down and I want to flip the video stream around so that the video is right side up. How do I flip the video around in the pi camera's settings?

I can't open the rtp stream from my pi in vlc

I just downloaded the ivory video streamer image for the pi but I can't open the stream in vlc on my mac. I opened vlc and clicked on universal plugnplay and I see the pi's ip address and then I clicked the play button but vlc didn't do anything.

MotionPie is not sending an email when there is motion.

I setup motionpie to send me an email to my gmail address using google's built in smtp server. I have not been getting emails even when I wave my hands in front of the Pi Cam. I used this web page https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... mtp-server

Thanks! My testing is over. If anyone did anything on that server it will be gone. It was ran on it's own dedicated network.

Re: Running an ssh server on a port that may be blocked.

It is not running on my cousin's network. They have a bunch of routers so when I visited them and told them about this they setup a private network for the ssh server.
