Re: Power Connection

If I remove the poly fuse and micro-usb connector it looks like there's plently of room on the bottom side of the board to hack on a DC barrel connector. Poly fuse is nothing but a reliability degradation in my application--input current limiting is provided by a 12v to 5V DC/DC regulator that power...

The static drop is probably ok because of the down stream linreg.. Should have said The static drop is probably ok because of the down stream switching regulator. Getting low audio susceptibility (input to output transfer function) while maintaining good dynamic output regulation is difficult. The ...

Re: Power Connection

That's a bummer. I've never seen a micro-usb connector rated for anywhere close to two amps. Nor a USB cable with a micro-usb on one end that has a gauge of wire that's big enough for 2 amps. Not to mention the IR drop you'll see in the typical 28 gauge wire USB cable with micro connector. The stati...

Re: Power Connection

Any reason the B+ can't be powered through the standard USB ports? eg, pcb trace widths? I don't want power to go through the poly fuse and will connect nothing to the micro-usb port. I've been powering through the Type A usb port on the B so I could avoid the reliability degradation of using the mi...

Re: reset high-speed USB device number XXX using dwc_otg

Did that, but that caused a new fatal error:

cannot locate cpu MHZ in /proc/cpuinfo

Spent the last hour researching this and how to fix. No good fixes found so far--just regress to prior version.

Could be I missing something...

Re: Qt5 - How to get started on Raspberry Pi

The email for your reply got stuck in my spam folder--thanks for the reply, and sorry no response.

I've been using Qt4.8 with the QtCreator 2.5.0. I wasn't aware of the 3.0.1 version from http://twolife.be/raspbian/pool/test/qtcreator/

I'll give it a try!

Thanks,

Dave Thomas

Re: Qt5 - How to get started on Raspberry Pi

Heater, Do you use QtCreator on the RPI with those 5.2 libraries? If so, where did you get it? On the RPI I'm using Qt Creator 2.5.0 which is based on Qt 4.8.1. It's what got installed on Rasbian with apt-get and seems to work fine. But, can it be used with the Qt5.2 libraries to build Qt5 applicati...
