The pi is hooked up to my Samsung TV via hdmi, so it isn't headless. I did check the Ethernet connect, and there were know misaligned or bent pins. The light blinked real fast once on startup, but that was it. Also, in case it helps, i am currently using Pidora. Here is dmesg (Because it wouldnt let...

As far as history of the board, it's never suffered any damage or anything, and I am the only one who has ever used it. My modem (Net gear N450 CG3000Dv2) is on the other end of the ethernet cable.
