Are you using the last beta image and it freezes? I have tried the last wheezy image from here http://www.linuxsystems.it/2012/06/debi ... mal-image/ and it freezes, even with rpi-update... If the new official beta does not freezes is a good development...

So anyone has found a way/workaround this issue? I get freezes even when I am downloading @ 100KB/s... it is extremely annoying. On the other hand, samba transfers ~2MB/sec work very stable... It is so weird...

We have the same problem discussed in this thread: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6958&p=97431#p97431 I'm going to try if it solves this problems... One question, the kernel from positron.dckd.nl/~jeroen/stuff/rpi-ipv6-kernel.img is the same as compiling the new kernel oursel...

It must be something regarding the fact that Ethernet shares the same bus with the USB ports, or something... I 'm really not sure... The weird thing it that it happens also when downloading torrents to the sd card...

I'm having the same problem with rtorrent run from screen. I have several days of uptime, but when I try to download torrents to an external usb drive (self - powered) the raspi freezes after some minutes. I have no clue on what happens, I assume it must be something with the USB drivers and the con...
