Basically the module can read its boot code over USB as a slave – we have some software (that runs on – guess what – a Raspberry Pi!) that can act as a host and write the Flash using this ...

Re: New Website

the colors (and other stylistic elements) are probably chosen for the real audience of the raspberry pi site, that is school children. not for older hacker/maker type of users. i'm guessing a lot of resistance agains the new style stems from people disagreeing with this choice, who want to see a mo...

Re: Format pendrive to ext4 for use with RPi?

The thing that worries me is that it doesn't specify it as "ext4" when you format something with it, it just names it as "extended filesystem". No version number or anything. It seems as it's specifically meant to be ext4 so I want to be 100% sure. The manual seems to infer ext4 is supported http:/...

Re: Format pendrive to ext4 for use with RPi?

Hello! I've gotten into a problem trying to format one of my pendrives to the "ext4" filesystem. I've got a Mac as my main computer and it can't read/write/format to ext4 or any other ext-filesystem as far as I know. Currently I've tried using the Paragon ExtFS-software (trial version) and it forma...

Re: Using Ipad as monitor

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to use my ipad as a first or second monitor for my pi, I've used Splashtop for this before but the only linux distribution that it works on is Ubuntu, which isn't supported by pi. Does anyone know any software I can use to stream from pi to my ipad? preferably...
