Re: How possible is it to port over android 4.4 kik-kat?

What is this, and how does it relate? It would appear to be kitkat for arm v6... https://github.com/androidarmv6/android_build And yes, I have no idea what I'm talking about. Just give up on Android on Pi, you will be just totally frustrated, as said in many posts in this form just buy a £35 Androi...

KiCad is in the Debian Wheezy and Jessie repositories

https://packages.debian.org/jessie/kicad

So there is no reason for it not to run within a Debian VM Install

I was just trying to get Pidora/KDE updated and it is failing because many of the packages have been updated to 4.12.5, requiring kde-runtime to be at 4.12.5, but...

The solution is to buy a manufacturing licence for the CPU/GPU and maybe involve Sony in achieving this ?

Install minidlna on the raspi and use just about any dlna client to view them. Bubbleupnp works great on android platforms, and you can even broadcast to a chromecast plus most smart tv will let you stream video, play audio, and view pictures from your raspi. http://bbrks.me/rpi-minidlna-media-server
