also if I want to have many sensors
eg 3 mics, 1 ir sensor, 2 motors, 1 camera, 2 speakers etc
how do I connect all this to my pi?
is there like an expansion chip?
if so can you give me a link to it?

I want to add 4 mic's to my pi for sound triangulation
Can some one point me in the right direction.
1. how to i connect the 3 mic's (i dont want to use USB)
2. If I use an arduino i am assuming that it will take a lot of time to process isn't that true?
3. what mic's will be the best to use?
