I would expect it would be the same as with a Model B+ , ethernet and USB probably won't work out of the box....

Re: Turn-key WordPress Server Image - PressPi

No, my present site is not wordpress. It's just plain html pages that I typed up on Notepad. And I don't have a "domain". I'm just using NO-IP to redirect people to my dynamic IP address. So I can't migrate it. What I can do is just copy all of the files into the proper directory.... if I could fin...

Re: Turn-key WordPress Server Image - PressPi

Glad you asked! If your current site is WordPress I urge you to use the built-in Site migration plugin, I promise it's the easiest way. As far as port access... I'm not sure off the top of my head, maybe someone else can chime in here:) but if I had to guess, I would imagine it's in the nginx config...

I did leave everything intact in the image - It looks like that script just expands drive space...Why don't you just use sudo raspi-config ?

Rionoskae, I tried unzipping both 1.6 and 1.5 with Windows extraction wizard. I get the message "Unknown compression method"! What did you use to zip these. I can't extract either of 'em. Edit: Never mind. I installed 7-zip. It seems to be extracting them with no problem. Don't know why Windows cou...

Re: Turn-key WordPress Server Image - PressPi

1.6 is now live :) Changes in 1.6: 1.) Installed PHPmyadmin. It can be accessed via http://presspi:81 , this was an intentional implimentation of phpmyadmin to improve security and reduce automated attacks via the usual login url. (IE - http://ip_address/phpmyadmin) 2.) Installed Raspcontrol. Raspco...

Also I just noticed with fail2ban if you fail 6 times to login it seems you are permanently banned from logging in via SSH from that IP. Seems good from a security standpoint - but now i have no idea how to fix it :( haha *Few minutes later...* Hmm nvm - it seems that is native security as the fail2...

@Lob0426 Good point on spammer registration - I think I'll go ahead and configure the blacklist settings i have from my main server, seems to keep everything at bay for the last 2 years. @Rionoskae My brother tried to use the image file and it was slightly too large for the first 8GB SD card. The image needs 7.2GB and his first card only showed 7.1GB available (after using SDFormatter to clear it off) . He did get it imaged onto a card that stated 7.49GB. You may want to use GParte...

Still( as with all my images I share), I have build instructions for the image on my site if anyone cares to disse...

Why? Is your google broken?
What exactly is the problem?

1.5 (v2 - 4gb version) was uploading the last 1-2 hours or so - Otherwise everything should work as expected.

Turn-key WordPress Server Image - PressPi

PressPi is the first turn-key WordPress Server image for the Raspberry Pi. It's been configured using nginx for improved performance and reduced server load. Does this "boot the image w/ a lcd connected and type "op <username>" at the console window." mean boot the RPI with keyboard and monitor connected, wait for the boot process to get to the last line where it says something along the lines of "type ? for help" and provides a cursor? As far as compiling spigot for 1.8 - I kept getting memory errors, it would seem that you might have to compile the new spigot version on another pc and then transfer it over via samba.

MineCraftPi - 1.8 Update Status After several hours of trial by fire testing, re-imaging & reading - I've come to the unfortunate conclusion that the current 1.7 release version of MineCraftPi might have to be the end of the line for the image.... At least until the DMCA ruling is settled in court....
