Re: Good MPD GUI Client

Yes! - out of interest, would it be difficult to modify it to work with LIRC? No, not for now... IR is not a requirement for me... I wanted a player with "local" touch UI, not a webpage or a smartphone app or a IR remote control (I've already got too many of them!). But I think you could easily use...

Re: Good MPD GUI Client

I'm working on a project which will be a graphical frontend to Logitech Media Player and Squeezelite. It's based on QT5 and designed to be used with a touchscreen.
I'm thinking about releasing it publicly soon. Would you be interested?

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

exec "chemin vers ton script"
ou

Code: Select all

bash tonscript.sh

Re: Init script & connetion refused

Ok, I think I found the explaination: It seems that LogitechMediaServer needs more time to load than the time it takes to launch the service.

So, I modified my Python script to retry connecting until the connection is accepted.

Re: Comment lancer script shell automatiquement au demarage

Je pense que tu as 2 solutions: Soit, le lancer en temps que service : Il te faut créer un fichier dans /etc/init.d de la forme suivante: #!/bin/sh ### BEGIN INIT INFO # Provides: tonServer # Required-Start: $syslog # Required-Stop: $syslog # Default-Start: 2 3 4 5 # Default-Stop: 0 1 6 # Short-Desc...

Init script & connetion refused

Hi, I'm trying to automatically run an application I made at boot. This is a GUI for LogitechMediaServer. So, my program needs LogitechMediaServer and Squeezelite to be started first. These are already successfuly started at boot time, as services. First, I tried to add the command line in rc.local,...

I've just bought a new Sandisk Extreme Class 10 8GB SD card. I'm reinstalling the system. First impression : Wow! It runs much better than before. I didn't know that the difference between a "no-name" SD card and a good one was so huge! I'm wondering... Should I just install the system and forget ab...

My rPi server crashed after 30 days

Hello! 30 days ago, I set up a Rpi (new 512 mb RAM) as a little personnal server : Nginx, Php. I installed dotclear (just for testing) with SQLite, Owncloud and a little status page. I plugged a 32GB usb flash key as storage for nginx, owncloud. I did not do any overclocking nothing that would stres...

But Kivy looks interesting also if one can get it to only do OpenGLES. I worked on that these last days, and manage to add what was missing to Kivy in order to load OpenGL ES libraries from RaspberryPI. I'm able to run all the examples from the kivy sources. It's not complete, though, because only ...

Re: How to read data through USB

The first thing you should look at if you have no knowledge in USB at all, is how USB works... It is a bit more complicated than the good old RS232. Then, if you have some programming skills, use libUSB if you know C, PyUSB if you know Python,... I managed to communicate between the RaspberryPi and ...

Re: How to read data through USB

You can use libusb to communicate with another USB device. Libusb encapsulates everything you need (descriptor, configuratin, device, pipe,...). If you are familiar with Python, PyUSB is great! Then, you have to know a little about the device you want to communicate with: what do you need to send to...
