I had left dnsmasq on for wlan0 which I thought would not cause issues.
But interaction between dnsmasqd and resolved is a common topic of questions.

Heavy usage of SD Card or low RAM seem to be the causes: is there some way to limit the amount of damages Chromium can do? Use any other browser. Chromium is a resource hog, always has been. I agree. Years ago the Pi used to ship with a different browser, maybe they should have not moved to chromium.
