Playing media from network (smb) share is definatly getting worse.. Now, traying to play a 700mb rip, xvid video and 2 channel audio results in a pause/play cycle every 10 - 15 seconds! Also experiencing random freezes, no config file, just a fresh clean install of r11324.. Just a remote, ethernet ...

Im using 11320 Todays img. Its working great! Seems alot snappier. Addons seem to be ok ( haven't added any) tried on 3 different cards expanded storage w/gparted and working great Kudood to cpswan i think it is thanks for all the hard work whoever you are!

I Have The Same Prob. But Mine Works On A 2gb Card But Wont On A 16 gb card Same Thing On Boot Screen? smuggly

Please upgrade, test and report back: http://sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/openelec-rpi/OpenELEC-RPi.arm-devel-20120528231553-r11160.tar.bz2 if your builds are to old plese update your bootloaderfiles with the files from 3rdparty/bootloader...

OK I tried the 2GB img No luck i get a disk error mck..... It works on the 2gb img from yesterday though? smuggly

why not unpack the build you found at http://sources.openelec.tv/tmp/image/openelec-rpi/ and copy the content of the target/ folder to the "Update" samba share like http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php?title=Updating_OpenELEC#Manually_Updating_OpenELEC ? the bootloader files you find in the 3rdparty/b...

OK i had problems w/ sparkys images only after resizing the storage partition on my 16 gb cards. on the 2 gb card it,s ok. im using it now its a bit faster than the 10710 i was using. I just tried the 2gb build from sparky0815 link above seems better than mine on a slow X133 card! Gonna Try The 4GB Next. Is There Anything in linux GUI to write Img with? I tried imagswriter (Ubuntu) But Its not gettin It!

PS Addons Gave me Something about disabling bcuz theyre where errors!

I've tried a few different cards. The only card i have that will play 1080p acceptable is a class 10 card I have a class 4 thats to slow both versions of openelec 10710.... smuggly

PS can i just copy files from the uncompressed new builds to update? thanks!

I'm running openelec build 10710 i think. & the smaller of the 2 chips( the one by the lan) gets pretty hot to the touch. I run HD video from my home server. I got the case w/out the fan!
I'm gonna run it this weekend full out (watch movies all day ) And see how it does. Smuggly
