Paul, all sorted eventually! Only other question, I have downloaded some maps designed for xastir, but I cant work out how to open them up! Any ideas?

Paul,
Sorry it's taken a while haven't had time to have a play with the Pi for a while! Still no luck! Can't get gpsd to run at all without uninstalling xastir. Haven't tried i2ckiss yet, but will it work considering I have a usb gps and not on the gpio pins?

How do I go about setting xastir to listen to gpsd on localhost:2947?? Bit of a newbie to it all!

TNC-Pi with GPS

So I recently recieved my TNC-Pi and made up the board and connected it up to my radio... all working fine, and it recieves data perfectly and plots it onto a map in xastir. So I can use this whilst mobile to transmit my location I have added a usb GPS dongle into the equation but I cant seem to get...
