Re: My Pitendo

Will you try to use NES controller connectors on RPi or will use NES USB gamepads?
Awesome project indeed!

Re: Street Of Rage Remake

CodenameV,

Is it take a while to load a pak file? I tried 6 paks but all of them freezes in black screen.
The menu screen works normally but I tried to run paks with and without menu screen and only black screen.

Re: Street Of Rage Remake

CodenameV,

I was trying to compile PainTown (OpenBOR + Mugen) to RPi but I corrupted my SD card during the process.
Do you intend to try to compile PainTown too?

Re: Only 256MB RAM on revision 000e board?

Maybe the reason to this problem is linked with the compilation of PainTown. I tried to compile it with the new SD card and my card is getting crazy again ("Segmentation Fault", "PREEMPT ARM", etc, etc). Is there an alternative to compile programs on a Linux PC and after that transfer them to SD card?

Re: Only 256MB RAM on revision 000e board?

Guys I think that I got a solution!!! My "curiosity" asked for a new SD card with a clean image from RetroPie. I made this SD card and plugged on RPi. On command line, I wrote free -h and for my surprise the memory avaliable is 384MB. Rrunning vcgencmd get_mem arm and vcgencmd get_mem gpu the output...

Re: Only 256MB RAM on revision 000e board?

So, I changed /boot/config.txt adding gpu_mem=64 but the outputs from vcgencmd get_mem arm and vcgencmd get_mem gpu stay the same:

arm = 128
gpu = 128

dom,

About the picture, I put a heatsink on the chips. I'm afraid to take them off and lose the glue.

I will change gpu_men and post the results here!

Only 256MB RAM on revision 000e board?

I'm trying to compile a program in RPi and I'm getting some random errors (Segmentation Fault, for example). So, I found a command (free -h) that shows the consume of memory on RPi. And I got surprised when I saw the results: total used free shared buffers cached Mem: 120M 90M 29M 0B 15M 46M -/+ buf...

Re: PainTown for RPi?

MrPi64, When I compiled using these instructions (http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/paintown/wiki/BuildFromSource), the default engine used during the process was SDL. It's possible to compile with Allegro 5.1, but it's necessary to compile it before compile Paintown. Now I don't realley know to answ...

Re: PainTown for RPi?

Problem solved! Now backing to PainTown. Compiling with SDL, PainTown became impossible to play. Arcade mode (OpenBOR) works with 3.0 FPS (OMG! :lol:). I spoke with a cool guy on Paintown chat support (jon-work), he suggested that compile PainTown with Allegro5 is the best option for RPi ("[18:35] <...

Re: PainTown for RPi?

So, I successfully compiled PainTown. It was necessary to create a swapdisk partition to do it. BUT, I got a problem on my sdcard :( I think it happened because I turned RPi off directly on plug. It's a VFS Kernel Panic and it's accussing a superblock corruption... :( I will try to fix it to test Pa...

Re: PainTown for RPi?

I'm trying to compile with cmake, let's see!

I found something that can help on compiling Paintown with scons:
http://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/qu ... ld-mongodb

It's a simple solution, just create a swapdisk. If I got any error with cmake, I will try it.
