with raspistill, which these options seem to be from, you use -awb off -awbg red, blue (eg -awbg 1.5,1.2)

I've also tried 3 different cables in different arrangments (to make sure I have them plugged in correctly). vcgencmd get_camera results in supported = 1, detected = 1 When I run raspistill -...

I don't have a solution, but I have the very same problem with one of my new Zero Ws. I ordered two and equipped them with the card with the same image running Raspbian Lite with mjpg_streamer. Between the two I only changed the hostname and the static IP. One runs perfectly OK, the other one doesn...

Adding a second USB camera

Hi

I have a USB web camera on my pi and need to add a second one that is unfortunately of a different brand. Not sure how to do that. I use mjpg-streamer to get live video off of my first camera.

Just to reply to myself, mjpg-streamer-experimental also has mmal support. Not sure what it is doing differently than motion but image quality is significantly better, probably on par with raspistill.

Still looking for the root cause...

Just clone the newest version of mjpg-streamer from github (use the one with added raspberry pi support), open the "mjpg-streamer-experimental" folder and run

Code: Select all

make -B -i | make install -B -i

Code: Select all

mjpg_streamer
