Re: Fire! SD card melted! [solved]

I've just done a destructive test on the microSD-SD adaptor and there were no shorts in there either. The micro SD card is now dead.

Re: Post your estimated arrival dates

14th May, but I didn't order until very late in the day after I discovered that the boards were going to be manufactured in the UK for future production runs.

Is that true? Are the boards that Farnell are producing coming from the UK, China or locally produced by country?

As much as I expect this thread to get deleted, I'm hoping that the R-Pi is the exact opposite of that.

<t>As paying for an h.264 license doesn't indemnify you from prosecution by patent holders (read their t&cs) I wouldn't worry too much about personal use. It's possible to pay mpeg-la for a license and still face court action for patent infringement.<br/> <br/> Gotta love those lawyers...<br/> <...

Re: pi pi connectivity bandwidth, without USB or Ethernet

If I could address Gert for a moment; what's the fastest we could achieve without resorting to the GPU, by any means.

Why is the answer to the "Math Required!" (Not a question; and maths, surely.) always 13?

N.B. Never trust client side verification.
