Re: Configuring Remote GPIO

@salb
After uninstall and install ``pigpio`` and ``gpiozero`` again it works for me.
Download pigpio.zip and unextract PIGPIO folder to p.e. : C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\PIGPIO and install it with

Code: Select all

C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\PIGPIO>python setup.py install

Re: Configuring Remote GPIO

This is maybe a faulty binding of "gpiozero". Use pure "pigpio". Then it works.

example for a LED:

Code: Select all

import pigpio
import time

PI = pigpio.pi("192.168.0.42", 8888)

PI.set_mode(17, pigpio.OUTPUT)
PI.write(17, 1)
time.sleep(10)
PI.write(17, 0)
PI.stop()

Re: DTS-MA passthrough

Hi I have a similar issue with a RPi 3 (Libreelec 8.0.1, Kodi 17.1): I have activated passthrough and if I watch a movie with DTS my AVR shows me PCM instead DTS signal. But if I watch a movie with AC3/DD audio the AVR displays Dolby logo... My old dreambox 800se passes through DTS signal correctly ...

Your code is full of errors.

Basicly you should work through the official Python-Tutorial and please do not forget to inform you about the ''whitespace-syntax'' ;)

Re: Foundation Camera Board information

If I take a picture with raspistill or with picamera the pictures have wrong colors as you can see at the attached picture. The forest should be green but it's brown like in the fall. Are you sure that's the 'normal' Pi camera? It looks more like the result of the Pi-NoIR. See e.g. http://raspi.tv/...

I have already done it and it works great.
An other question is, what do you think is better (quality and real time stream):

streaming .jpg files or .h264 frames?

Re: Pure Python camera interface

@waveform80 Have you changed something in the code, because "picamera.led = False" is no longer running since update to v1.3? Are you attempting to set the led property on the module itself? If so, you need to set it on the camera instance, e.g.: import picamera with picamera.PiCamera() as camera: ...
