I actually got it working by editing apaches httpd.conf file, and adding this line
LoadModule php5_module modules/libphp5.so

PHP not working/executing script

I just installed apache, php, etc. And tried a simple php script from here: http://derkev.in/rpisysinfoscript/ My only problem is that when I visit my pi on a browser it shows the contents of the file rather than "running it".
