Re: static IP add for wifi

@Richard
And what is happening if you setup both IP addresses for eth0 and wifi to be the same. You will have the same IP if you are
connected on wire or via wifi. Can you tell us what is in your /etc/resolv.conf file ?

Re: NRF24L01 RF Transceiver

When you want transmit something use testRPD function (on nrf24l01+) or testCarrier (on nrf24l01) to check if someone is transmitting something to you. If that is the case, delay your transmission on a random time (kind of aloha protocol). If you have more devices you can combine maybe with a token ...

Re: NRF24L01 RF Transceiver

Read few minutes about the ALOHA protocol, maybe is fine for your project. How time sensitive is your project?

In few words, if we have a collision, retransmit the packet after a random period of time. If I remember correctly the frame size need to be fixed.

Re: NRF24L01 RF Transceiver

GotData is an user defined handler that is mapped on the IRQ pin from nrf. When the interrupt pin goes from high to low that got data is called. You can rename this function with what name you want.

It is just a display problem, nothing functional. It comes from arduino's library, I guess, but I will check.

No, just in ping example for Rpi. Library need to be modified to display correctly the content for RF_CONFIG register for + version. It displays PA_HIGH instead of PA_MAX if the value of register is 0xX7.

When you have a final working solution, can you put it in small tutorial together with the code (this is for arduino, this is for Pi).

You work is very appreciated.

Or you can monitor the movement of the car in front of you. It can be done also with a web camera and motion software.

You can do this small project using an Arduino. If you want Rpi also just for logging and display the info on a web page just send the info from arduino to Rpi using Serial library over the USB.

Re: reading pt1000 sensor with pi

With a little help form an Arduino you can do it. Read the temperature with the arduino and send it to the Pi over USB. Open the USB port with a simple C program and read what arduino is sending. After that is up to you if you want to trigger valves, apply power to a relay to tart a motor etc. It is...

Re: Furnace Fan - Run 10 minutes out of every hour

It is very simple. I've done a similar project for my irrigation system. You need a relay board http://www.teguna.ro/images/produs/modul_releu_4X_5V_10A/cover.jpg with 1,2,3,4 relays depending on your needs. Connect the relay board to the GPIO/5V/GND. Write an C application to set on/off your desire...

I have a similar board ( 4 relays) and is working fine directly connected to the Pi. I'am using the board to control my irrigation system over the internet using Pi. The system has been tested for 2 weeks on cold and now it has one week in full production and is working like a charm. It is very nice...

Re: simple 16 signal GPIO I2C board

Very nice GPIO board. I am waiting for Rpi just to used to communicate with other devices. I want to test it with all kind of sensors, even to see how openCV is working on this little machine. If I will get a Rpi I want also a GPIO board.
