go into raspberry pi configuration and change location to US. The pi defaults to a UK keyboard layout and over there the " symbol is the shift function for the 2 key.

Re: Pretty sure my composite is fried

Thanks for the reply. I had actually tried everything you said with one exception. This morning I tried the tvservice -c "pal 4:3" command that you mentioned. I'm in the states so I changed PAL to NTSC. After executing that command I instantly lose hdmi video. However I still get nothing from compos...

Pretty sure my composite is fried

I've been reading threads for hours and I feel as though I have tried everything. I can't seem to get video from my composite jack on my pi. I've tried various versions of raspbian including noobs, pimame, and a full wheezy install of raspbian. I'm not really a noob when it comes to the pi so please...

alternate keyboard layout

I'm trying to map out an alternate keyboard layout and I'm having some difficulty. I'm using a keyboard that is for the most part standard, but a few of the shift functions differ from the normal keyboard layout. So far I have tried a few different ideas with good but less then perfect results. Firs...

Re: Mouse pointer stuck at bottom - only moves left and righ

Thought id give this thread a little bump and see if anyone has found a solution for this one. I wish I would have read this thread a week ago cuz I just bought the ipazzport KP-810-10A. I've only tried raspbmc so far and it doesn't even boot with the dongle plugged in. I'm going to play around with...

Raspberry Pi to Teletype

I'm fairly new to the Raspberry Pi world and I got a kinda silly idea. I've got this weird old teletype machine and I thought it would be a neat little case for my Pi. Id like to utilize the keyboard for the teletype, mount a screen on it, Give it a battery pack and make it a sweet little portable P...
