Re: Unable to change keyboard to German on Raspbian Jessie L

The keyboard was direct attached with the PI. - No ssh
I know that ssh keyboard has to be set on the client side.

Re: Wlan mit Pi3 unter CentOS

Hallo Ben, bei mir hat es funktioniert nachdem ich das README im root verzeichnis gelesen habe. For wifi on the rpi3, just proceed with those steps : # curl --location https://github.com/RPi-Distro/firmware-nonfree/raw/54bab3d6a6d43239c71d26464e6e10e5067ffea7/brcm80211/brcm/brcmfmac43430-sdio.bin > ...

Feature request: Please port NOOBS to USB only boot

Working with an USB stick only is really nice. The posts https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/bootmodes/msd.md and https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=44177 are great. So booting and working with an USB stick is much more fun. It is the only way to boot ...

Re: Latest Raspbian Images

I works fine with an SD card but not on an Raspberry PI 3 with a USB stick only. As far as I can see the file recovery.elf has hardcoded /dev/mmcblk0 in it and does not know how t...

Re: Latest Raspbian Images

Will this new noobs-image work in an USB only environment? I was following the steps in https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/bootmodes/msd.md and created a bootable USB stick. Now I would like to replace the boot partition with the noobs files and recovery7.img to boot. I k...

Re: www.raspberrypi.org

When I access the new www.raspberrypi.org site from the Raspberry it says: "This video can't be played with your current setup". I tried to use iceweasel (firefox) and midori as browsers. On the PC I can play the video with firefox where I do not have Adobe Flash installed. The Raspberry PI uns the ...

Re: Swapping to smaller SD card

I find the post in viewtopic.php?f=91&t=58069 viewtopic.php?f=91&t=60918 complicated. I just make the folling steps as root user: $ sudo su # mkdir /backup # tar -cvpf /backup/root.tar --exclude=./proc/* --exclude=./sys/* --exclude=./dev/pts/* --exclude=./media/* --exclude=./backup ./* -- Then I hav...
