Why don't you use solid state relays? - 3-32 volt triggerable - Opto isolated - up to 40 [email protected] volt capable. - Not expensive. - Silent I use them for a variety of things; from controlling lamps, to controlling air compressor tank drains, to controlling two 1000 watt audio amplifiers. Hi there. After reading this thread and experimenting myself it looks like there is really no possibility to turn off the power on the Pi USB ports. Does anyone know though an USB hub available in UK right now that can be controlled via the mentioned programs? I googled the ones mentioned but cannot...

Hi there. Would like to know what can be used for connecting (ssh and vnc over shh) to the Pi from a Win 8.1 tablet (Asus T100) via USB.
