Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

That's what I was thinking about (uninstall and upgrade RPi Cam Interface). Would raspbian - wheezy affect the interface (instead of using jessy?) Don't know. However I will schedule some re-install soon update: I have uninstalled the rpi-interface and installed it again (from step 1 to step 4). all...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

If this is not working for you then look at scheduler log which will show the period detection and the commands issued. Something isn't working :( Please see video which I have made just a moment ago: (I have cut the part when waiting for the reboot to finish): https://youtu.be/eNIhqFFKHdE After re...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi Guys I have opened my own topic, but haven't really received any reply. I have two questions about RPi Cam Web Interface. a) why after PI reboots, the scheduler does not start automatically the motion? At the end, I have left it on "SunBased" schedule, but it seems that if I will restart Raspberr...

How can I select files with specific date as an attachment

Hi Guys I am currently working on a notification system which would send me an e-mail as soon as my raspberry pi camera will detect the motion (and create a jpg + video). So far I am using the RPi Cam Control which generates files in the media folder: http://i.imgur.com/3AqLqFR.png and using sendema...

Re: B+ Broken MicroSD reader

I have two Raspberry Pi Model A at my home. Just ordered Model B from PiHut, received an unit with a faulty MicroSD slot (so I am another one with this issue). I have received a fefund, can't get a replacement as at 99% of stores is "Out of stock" until August. Decided to rip off the slot and remove...

Re: Clonezilla imaging using Raspberry Pi as a network serve

Update: I have made it.
After 3 days of fight, I have learned one big lesson:

Don't follow any manuals/tutorials from the web, because those were designed for raspbian-wheezy.
I was lucky enough to prepare raspbian jessy on which syslinux is missing and many files were not present at all.

Re: Clonezilla imaging using Raspberry Pi as a network serve

Hmm temporary I have managed to boot a PC in the network to Raspberry's PI PXE, however once I was trying to add Clonezilla to it, it failed completely. Currently imaging the MicroSD card/Raspbian again and will start again. Found, that using one Raspberry Pi with only one NIC (network interface car...

Clonezilla imaging using Raspberry Pi as a network server

Hi Guys I am sorry for such a trivial question, but anyone knows if by any chance Raspberry Pi can be used as a network server to which other PCs in the network can boot from network source to be imaged automatically by for example clonezilla imaging solution? I don't know if I should start this pro...

Re: [GUIDE] Chromecast streaming from raspberry pi

In this guide I'm explaining how to stream your movies, music and photos from your raspberry pi to your chromecast. If your media are not encoded in a chromecast-compatible format(see here https://developers.google.com/cast/docs/media), bubbleupnp server will transcode them. Be aware that the pi is...

Re: Deluge is stopping after a while

Just to let you know guys, the solution from DanielJF (https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=760510#p760510) seems to be working fine for me. Had same problems, tried with several restart scripts and apperantly, once I have installed deluge from the Ubuntu repositories, all seems to be ...

Re: Bash script file - merging two commands

Hi Joe

You were right. Thank you for help.
Anyway - I have resolved the problem in a different way (I hope so).
I have updated Deluge server based on the repositories for Ubuntu system.
So far looks better and program is running much more stable (does not crash so often)

Thank you for the help!

Have you disabled the low power mode on your hard drives with sudo hdparm -B 255 /dev/sdX ? Hi Dougie One more time, thank you for looking into it. Unfortunately, I am in a middle of a different trouble. I have installed hdparm and found as following: /dev/sda1: LABEL="Intenso" UUID="CCE42D8CE42D79...

This actually - might be a great idea.
I will add it to my Raspberry Pi, however probably won't be able to reply with results in even a month time :D

Anyway - thank you.
Unless there won't be any other suggestions - I will stick to this idea :) :)

Re: Power supply went down after upgrade

A coincidence for sure. [...] You need to find a good brand that is powerfull enough for your pi and anything you have connected to it via USB or GPIO. Maybe now is a good time to look for a backup PSU just in case of future issues? 1) I don't have anything connected by the USB port which would dra...
