Hi, I'm trying to connect the rtc + eeprom module with rasbberry pi. The clock is getting detected immediately when i connect , but after 3 or 4 seconds the device is getting disappeared. You can copy *.h264 files to your computer and use .h264 to .avi (or other formats of your choice).I used Format Factory..

Which key should be pressed?? I think Enter, you can run raspivid with the -v switch, then it will tell what you should press. is there an option to stop the camera capture in the middle? is there an option to capture images when the video is capturing? is there an option to change settings like IS...

Image extraction from video

hello,
i need to extract images from video. the video captured from raspi camera is .h264..... so is it possible to extract images from video and process on it???

i tried open cv code

Code: Select all

im.capture("filename.h264")
im.write("filename%04d.jpg")
but the saves images are of "0bytes"...
any other option??

Hey, I didn't know about that, very interesting! Apparently there is a circular buffer mode (-circular) in the newest raspivid code, from ghollingsworth 18 days ago, and committed by popcornmix 5 days ago. PROBLEM SOLVED...
ras-pi serial port(ttyAMA0) is TTL logic that's why....
BUT cant still figure out why the serial python program worked just by changing the directory...??

I checked with connecting two raspberry pi (using ttyAMA0 port), the reception and transmission are correct.
Can this problem be rectified by adding an inverter or MAX232 in the line??
is the serial port (ttyAMA0) TTL logic or RS232??

Ground wires are properly connected...and every time i send '1' from pc i receive 'g' in pi. this is similar for all other characters.
