I actually ended up using the RPi to run zoneminder in conjunction with the foscam to see if it would be worth using the RPi as a home security setup. Without zoneminder I probably wouldn't be using the RPi for home security. I'm loving ot so far, minus some issues I'm having getting it to upload to...

I just got my first rpi last week. I've been learning a lot trying get my initial test camera setup. Right now I have a foscam wireless ip cam as the "will I keep it going" test camera. I am running zoneminder on the RPi and monitoring via a windows PC/cell phone. I guess I'll eventually set the RPi...
