Re: Debian + SpecBas = load of programming fun for kids

Hi Dunny, Ok, now you need to navigate to where you installed SpecBAS - there's a file in there called, unsurprisingly, "specbas". So issue two final commands while in specbas's directory (can't help you with finding it; you should recall where you extracted it!) : 4. Make sure the SpecBAS binary is...

Just quickly then: 1. Open a terminal 2. Type "su" (without quotes) and press enter 3. Type in your password or whatever when prompted 4. now type in "cd /usr/lib/" (again without quotes) and press enter 5. now type in "wget https://sites.google.com/site/pauldunn/libbass.so" and press enter 6. now ...

Hi, Do you mean is it FAT32 or NTFS?

Never gave that a thought! But my folders and other stuff are on there as well.

Its plugged in to my hub. Which in turn, is plugged in to my RASPI. would of thought the hub sorts these things out anyways!?

Re: Powering the Pi via a CyberPower USB Hub?

Hi,

I use a Rubbishy old 4 port hub bought at ASDA. I plug this in to a 5v DC 2 Amp max supply.
I power PI, and HDD from it and works a treat!

Shame no one thought of an on off switch, or indeed a reset button for the PI.
