Re: LinuxCNC

Hello Kinsa,
I have older board with PIC32MX764, will be this board usable on RPI2 with MachineKit?
Or did you stop development for 764?
Thank you

Re: LinuxCNC

I built PREEMPT-RT for Raspberry 2, from https://github.com/emlid/linux-rt-rpi and it's working. LinuxCNC was compiled from this http://wiki.linuxcnc.org/cgi-bin/wiki.pl?RaspbianXenomaiBuild but picnc board is not connected. I think problem may be in picnc Broadcomm defines. Is somebody able to chec...

Re: Xenomai Packages

I would like to have Raspberry 2 with Xenomai too. For PICNC :-).
Now I tried to compile kernel but still no success with Xenomai.
I think I need to use 3.18 kernel but there is no ipipe patch for 3.18

Re: LinuxCNC

Hello Petr, I've removed and renamed some pins in order to simplify the code. The mode pin was removed as it only runs in position mode. There is no dedicated axis enable pin; it was just a placeholder in the old code. You can use any of the output pins instead. I forgot how I renamed the stepgen f...

Re: LinuxCNC

Thanks for catching that. It's fixed now :) I tried new hal driver (with new firmware) but I'am not able to send data out. hal file: loadrt [EMCMOT]EMCMOT servo_period_nsec=[EMCMOT]SERVO_PERIOD num_joints=[TRAJ]AXES loadrt picnc addf picnc.read servo-thread addf motion-command-handler servo-thread ...

Re: LinuxCNC

I've updated the firmware and HAL driver for the picnc board. Download using the following command: git clone -b picnc_orig https://code.google.com/p/picnc.testing/ Connector P3 is the digital inputs. Note that this is 3.3v only. Connector P4 is the digital outputs. Note that this is open-drain out...

Re: LinuxCNC

Hello, I'am using PICNC with driverTB6560 ( http://www.ebay.ie/itm/New-4-Axis-Tb6560-Motor-Driver-Stepper-Board-Controller-With-Box-For-Cnc-Router-/360819117984?pt=UK_BOI_Industrial_Automation_Control_ET&hash=item54027ecfa0 ) and I'am wondering if it's possible (and how) to connect other output/inpu...
