MPG2 and VC1 codecs not working.

I have just bought the codecs from raspberry and cant seem to get them enabled. I've followed the steps given in the email but to no avail, I've used the RPi command, I've SSH'd to the RPi and yet still no luck. I'm running XBMC through Raspbmc and have tied to input the codes in the Raspbmc setting...

Navi X on Raspbmc

Is there a way of getting Navi x on my raspberry without using a usb stick? I wondered if it was possible through the command prompt or not?

With the "add DVB network by location" do i select all these and let it find the muxes? Or are their certain 1s for the uk?

Just Rebooted and tried to find my adaptor (SkyStar) and its there :)

Thank you soooo much!

I'll reply with whether the channels and signal works or not once i've received my codecs from raspberrypi.org.

So I've gone wrong somewhere in "installing" the firmware or drivers? It's so irritating not being able to get it working because other people have managed it but no1 has put how they managed it. :(

looking at the last bit of the codes, mine looks like its de initialized and disconnected, But it needs to be connected???

I feel like im so close now to getting it sorted out!

I didnt type "snd-bcm2835" and after saving i put dmesg and its the same message. (in the picture)

So i typed Sudo nano /ect/modules and a box appeared so i typed dvb-usb-technisat-usb2 and now i dont understand the options so "save" it :S

The options are in the picture.

I had to enable it by adding the line:
dvb-usb-technisat-usb2
to /etc/modules

I didnt understand this part, Sorry.

Now i have downloaded the firmware into the "/lib/firmware/" folder do i need to somehow "install" or Make the raspberry know the firmware is there somehow?

Yes im running xbmc through raspbmc. So do you think it could be that the firmware i thought id managed to download into the firmware folder that may be missing or something?

I used a program called "putty" to get a command line up on my laptop for for the raspberry the changed the directory to /lib/firmware then used the link sudo wget http://kernellabs.com/firmware/technisat-usb2/dvb-usb-SkyStar_USB_HD_FW_v17_63.HEX.fw for the firmware, it said it downloaded but i cant...

I think i have managed to install the firmware, Not 100% sure but im guessing it worked since i didnt receive any errors, i cant seem to find any adaptors on tvheadend though. Help please :)
