Thanks for the replies. This is how my /etc/network/interfaces looks: auto lo iface lo inet loopback allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp auto wlan0 iface wlan0 inet static address 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 up iptables-restore < /etc/iptables.ipv4.nat and this is how my /etc/iptables.ipv4...

Thank you MrEngman. With raspbian 3.10.26+ #628 and your release 8188eu-20140110.tar.gz, I finally got hostapd working with my TL-WN725N V2.0. I followed this instruction: http://raspberry-at-home.com/hotspot-wifi-access-point/.
