Re: Recording with EXACT FPS

Had a class 10 SD so couldnt really imagine that being the issue :)
When i checked with sudo top alot of cpu time was eaten by rasmimjpeg , and that was indeed probably the problem , because now its solved:) , chrono watch idea worked perfectly:)

Re: Object tracking with Pi camera

Hi :) It's really about objects :) The upside is that on this moment i only require the board to capture the images, i can do the post-processing later on on a pc, there is no need for realtime information :) 60fps is not doable at full res, but it is at 720p (theoretically). Recording with EXACT FPS

Hi all , for a little science project i would need to capture images with a fixed , high fps. I myself want to record video for specific purposes, which forces me to define the shutter time. Previously i did this with the -ss 1000 command in raspivid. Would this be po...

Object tracking with Pi camera

Dear all , I (as a Pi noobie but interested in electronics) would like to make use of the Pi camera board to track objects. (objects are about 4-5 pixels in size) I got the board up and running , played around with raspistill , raspivid and raspiyuv. Since i would like to track the velocity as fine ...
