Allright people just a reminder "B" is NOT the same as "b", 1 B is 8 b, 1 GB = 8Gb.

You could probably use one for webhosting and another one as a nas, this would allow for more traffic.

I\'ll probably be using my nokia charger, 1200mA should give a lot of leeway.

That seems to contradict the information I found on power costs in Norway, but I wonder what are the prices listed in?

Ehm, isn\'t 30p riddicilously high, it\'s rarely above 5p let alone 30p.

I\'ve got a nokia charger as well, they cost more than the R-Pi but damn they\'re good.

Re: Hows this for a power supply?

Will the R-Pi supply more power to the USB ports if it is given more power?
For instance if I supply 1.2A the R-Pi draws .5A and the USB ports .2A that leaves .5A to be used.

Re: Only an i3 running at 3GHz! Think of the children.

Why do they buy compuers and give them to children? Woudn't it be better to give the money to the students and require them to buy a computer that meets the requirements, that's what we do here in Norway though this is at high school level.

Re: USB power

Well I know one way that could work, but you'll require some items:
- One of these:
- A powerjack that fits into the R-Pi.
- Some form of cuttation device, possibly a knife.
- Tools to connect the powerjack to the USB power supply.

Re: How many would you make?

One thing that you could do is add a simple app on the front page where the visitors could choose how many they would like to buy, seperate counters for A and B of course. This would be a simple and noncommiting way of finding out how many you should have.

Maybe if I rotated the R-Pi so that the PCI mount would just be connected to an empty spot, and had the ethernet wire through the hole?
