Re: MS SmallBASIC

BBC Basic (Too old) I personally feel that it is not 'too old' With Reporter http://www.avisoft.f9.co.uk/Reporter.htm providing great error reporting and debugging facilities, and Basalt http://www.kappasite.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/basalt.htm providing more keywords, OOP functionality, and easy access ...

Re: OMXPlayer and OGV

Hi,

I have also tried an rpiupdate to ensure the latest firmware, and have also used a 512 MiB Pi.

Results are still the same :(

Any ideas?

Cheers

OMXPlayer and OGV

Hi, I am trying to get OMXPlayer to play back a few .ogv files I have. Initially it just said "Have a nice day :)", so I followed the instruction at http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=19334&start=275 typing the following into config.txt: start_file=start_x.elf fixup_file=fixup_x....

Re: Raspbery Pi Forth Operating System

Hi, I am attempting to install this for my Father, but being new to C (or C++) I am completly lost. Are there any step-by-step instructions? (or more preferably an SD card image?) My Father has used Forth from the BBC micro days, through to the Archimedies (ARM 2), and still swears by the language. ...

Re: Install DirectFB on Raspbian

Alternatively, does anyone know of an alternative graphics library which I can call from C, without starting X?

I would need to be able to plot bitmaps.

I am new to C and linux programming, as my roots are in RISC OS with BASIC.

Cheers
