Hi Gordon, Quite a lot is turned on as I'm just running on a test setup. Its a Pi2 so maybe the extra cores allow a race condition that the original Pi's didn't? I don't think moving the code will help, if it is a race condition (which I suspect) then the subprocess updating the image could happen a...

Hi Gordon, I found a small bug I think, if I leave the program running for an extended period it sometime crashes with a message: JPEG loading error - at line 736. The RPi.GPIO is now updated/published and it all works OK on an Pi2 :) So just an apt-get update and an apt-get upgrade will do it, although I think a firmware update is required to fix other (PWM) issues with the RPi.GPIO package, so best do a rpi-update and reboot also. Just an update - you can now run Redsleeve Linux on a Rasperry Pi.

Redsleeve Linux is a recompile on ARM of something that might look like Centos 6 :)

You can just 'sudo bash' to get a root prompt and then use passwd to set the root password and then you can use it in the normal way
