Do you have ncdu installed (I'm not sure if Raspian comes with it pre-installed)? Then you can use

Code: Select all

ncdu /
to see which directories and files use up the space.

Another option would be using inotifywait, as suggested here:

I never tried this, but maybe it's worth a look.

You can put an interfaces file somewhere on the usb drive and write a small script which mounts it on startup and copies the file to /etc/network.
