Re: On-board clock?

Hello R-Pi team,

Is there a on-board clock available for use by another board? I couldn't see any clock signal on the GPIO header.

If so, what is the freq of such clock?

Thanks

N.

Re: SPI on final PCB

Hi Liz,

In order to enable one to develop a SPI driver, would you release the required information on the SPI block of the Broadcom SoC? If yes, when could you release such info?

Thanks

Re: SPI on final PCB

Hello R-PI team,

Could you confirm that SPI is available on the expansion header on the final PCB?
If so, is a SPI driver plan for the first release?

Thanks

Nghia.

So does Model B has : 1 USB Host port AND 1 USB device port, correct?

If so, could the board be power supplied via the USB device port?

Re: USB Device port on R-Pi / BCM2835

Hi,

I read that there is currently no USB device port on the R-Pi.

But does the BCM2835 has one? If so, any possibility to bring it out on a connector?

Thanks

Hello R-Pi team,

Is there already defined plan for taking pre-orders? When and how?

(Yes I know the production boards are planned "only" for November...)

Thanks!!

Re: Max data rate over I2C/SPI/UART

I meant I2C .
I m looking for the fastest simple interface (excluding usb) on the R-Pi for the CPU to xfer in/out data to another board . All this running under Linux.
Any suggestion?
Thx

Hi,

Is there any simulator/emulator I can use to test whether an existing specific Linux application would run on the Raspberry Pi and its performance?

Can't wait until November ....

Thx

Hi Gert,

Do you think 4Mbits/s is achievable on the Raspberry Pi, assuming the CPU is doing the xfer?
